Stay AWAY From Me, Chocolate Easter Eggs!!!

I lost NO weight this week. Truth is, I'd probably lost some before the weekend and I went off my diet for Easter.

I'm a little disappointed in myself for doing it, but it's given me drive to do better this week.

How do YOU jump back on the bandwagon after falling off?

Exercise!

So I got to thinking about James and Stephanies comments. I DO need to exercise more. The housecleaning is grueling, but I need to do something I enjoy.

My best friend has given me free reign of her pool. I'm going swimming today, which not only gives me exercise, but wears my kids out, which is a plus. I'm gonna take advantage of that one.

I'm also gonna try to take AB to the park during the day. I think that's a good start. Any exercise tips from you busy people who hate the gym?

Weigh-In Day!!!

     136lbs (starting lbs to lose)
-     36lbs  (1st 6 weeks)
-       2lbs  (this week)

       98lbs  (left to lose)

Well I only lost 2lbs this week, but what I have to lose is in the double digits now and I don't know how to express just how grateful I am for that. It also made me feel wonderful this week that my supervisor that's been out for 6 weeks  with a surgery came back and was like "WOW!" when she saw me.

2lbs is 2lbs closer to my goal. I would like advice, though. I think I'm hitting a plateau. How do you guys get beyond them?

Weigh In Day!!!

It's ALL downhill from here, folks! Thanks to ViSalus, and in spite of my cheat days, I've lost 4 more pounds this week.

     136lbs to lose (start weight)
-     32lbs             (first 5 weeks)
-       4lbs             (week 6)

       100lbs left!!!

I don't know if you have ever been as overweight as I was, but going from over 100lbs to lose to only having 100lbs to lose feels AMAZING!!! After my next pound, it's gonna be in the two-digit numbers. If you've never been THAT overweight, you can't possibly imagine how amazing that feels.

In six weeks, thanks to ViSalus, I have lost the equivalent to my two-and-a-half year old child. If you've ever walked around with a large toddler on your hip, you know how much weight that is.

I'm so excited. I can't wait to update my Body-By-Vi challenge page. I am halfway through my 90-day challenge.

My Poor, Neglected Blog

To say this week has been busy and stressful would be a gross understatement. The only thing that's been easy has been ViSalus. I've followed my diet to a "T" this week, with the exception of Thursday. I went to Pensacola for work and treated my coworkers to lunch at a place that I traditionally go to when I visit there.

I've still lost, though. My weigh in is tomorrow when I wake up, and I'm excited. ViSalus has brought me so far. I walked in over at the Pensacola office more confident about my appearance and with more energy, thanks to ViSalus.

I thank God for this program and know it is only getting better. My progress is giving me a lot of motivation to continue.

W(eigh) Better Than a Cheat Day

I have a couple big things coming up and I couldn't exactly go to them in saggy jeans. I talked to a friend at work last night and we decided to do some shopping. She's always dressed beautifully, so I was grateful she went with me to help me pick out clothes. I got two very nice outfits, which were 2 sizes down from what I was wearing when I walked in. I don't look like I want to yet, but I look better than I did.

We parted ways and went to separate shoe stores. I went in with the intention of buying one pair and came out with three, including something I haven't been able to wear for years because of my weight. Today, I bought heels. I can't wait to wear them.

Weigh-in Day

So my cheat day showed, and I didn't meet my goal. I did lose 2lbs this week, leaving me with 104 left to lose. In 5 weeks, I've lose 32lbs. That's nothing to be disappointed about. I'm not gonna have cheat days very often though.

So much is happening here. Adam started his job today. A.B. went to a sitter for the first time that wasn't a family member. Adam and I are dropping pounds like hot potatoes. Things are looking up.

My natural instinct is to "celebrate". I did so by picking up some Lean Cuisines for work instead of gorging myself on Chinese or Mexican food. That's progress, and progress is wonderful.

Tonight, though a bit disappointed in my weigh in, I'm filled with gratitude. I am truly blessed.
